Notes: Our grains are grown in Organic Whole Cane Sugar. This sugar makes for extra healthy and happy kefir grains. It also gives it a slightly brown tint (as pictured). Upon arrival, you will notice that the water kefir grains will be sitting in a light brownish liquid. The color is simply due to the organic raw brown sugar. If you grow it in white sugar, they will turn clear. Keep in mind that these grains can usually thrive in any desired sugar and will change color based on the sugar used.

These grains are hardy and amazing! I ordered 10 lots about 6 months ago and they are still alive and well. They are also some of the most active grains I’ve ever adopted. The Yemoos team is also very helpful in troubleshooting or assisting any issue you might have have they are very quick to respond and resolve any concerns. Highly recommended!

Kefir Shots

I purchased 2.5 cups of water kefir and have been growing them with cane sugar for 5 months now. They grow really fast. I use a shot glass and fill it up with the grains once a month for a good dose. I use the fermented water to replace my water intake. Taste great.
