I’ve been making water kefir for about seven years. I’ve bought and been gifted grains from lots of different sources. Yemoos’s grains are the biggest, healthiest and prettiest by far. They look like sparkly diamonds lounging and floating in their sugar water bath. It took only three batches (5 days) for them to start producing a flavorful, bubbly, probiotic drink. Every two days I just strain over ice, add a squeeze of lemon & a bit of ginger juice and drink. Perfect.
The grains arrived shortly after ordering and were larger than I expected. I made one quart immediately and was surprised at the growth of the grains 2 days later. The kefir was not quite drinkable plain, so I combined it with my Kombucha and made two quarts from the grains. The grains grew again enough to make four quarts and it was drinkable plain. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
