Kefir grains arrived in good shape. It took about a week for the grains to adjust to their new life in Massachusetts and create palatable kefir. Good product. Buy with confidence from this vendor.
I started trying these with grass milk (ultra pasteurized) and was getting a very yeasty outcome, not sour at all. After reading through Yemoo's guide to solving this problem I switched to raw milk and have been getting much better results.
I'm impressed with the grains, the quick service, the effective packaging, everything. The whole company is great! The grains began culturing our raw milk quickly, and I've already gotten several batches of kefir from them. Also, I was a little hesitant about signing up for emails, knowing how most companies are, but I did it, and YAY for Yemoos, because they have not taken advantage of that by overdoing it!
